Amid the crisp autumn air and abundant harvest, the School of Economics and Management Trade Union held the “2025 Ceremony Celebrating Faculty Children’s Educational Advancement and Parenting Exchange Forum” on September 24 in Room 1205 of the SEM Building. The event was organized to congratulate the children of faculty members on entering new stages of their education, while also providing a platform for sharing parenting experiences and strengthening mutual support among families. School leaders and faculty members whose children advanced to new educational levels this year gathered to celebrate the occasion, exchange insights, and discuss future aspirations.

At the opening of the event, Ni Yu, Chair of the School Trade Union, extended warm congratulations on behalf of the School to all faculty children who had successfully progressed to the next stage of their education. She emphasized that faculty members are the cornerstone of the School’s development, and that caring for the next generation is an important reflection of the School’s human-centered approach. She expressed the hope that the event would convey the School’s warmth and support, while fostering communication and mutual assistance among faculty families. During the ceremony, the School thoughtfully prepared meaningful and practical gifts tailored to different stages of educational advancement.
The subsequent parenting exchange session featured active participation from faculty members with children at various stages of development. Participants shared their experiences and reflections on topics such as education, habit formation, interest cultivation, and parent–child communication. The atmosphere was lively and engaging, filled with laughter and applause. The discussions highlighted that, throughout the journey of growth, parents and children develop through mutual understanding, support, and shared progress.
This ceremony and exchange session was more than a simple celebration—it served as a vivid embodiment of the School’s “home culture.” It effectively enhanced faculty members’ sense of belonging and well-being, while further strengthening the cohesion of the School.
